A Doozy Vegan Easter Treat

Happy Easter! This year we’ve decided to share with you our favourite guilt-free vegan snack you can easily make as an alternative Easter treat.

Here’s a recipe for vegan energy bites that are easy to make and perfect for a quick snack:


  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of salt


  1. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped almonds, vegan chocolate chips, shredded coconut, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add in natural peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls using your hands.
  4. Place the balls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Chill the energy bites in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Enjoy your delicious vegan energy bites as a snack or quick pick-me-up throughout the day!
